Full open-contest feed, kept current as the rules change, one integration. For a single calendar or platform.
ContestGuard — the rules column nobody else publishes
Every photo-contest calendar lists the deadline and the fee. None of them answer the question that actually decides an entry: what does this contest take from the photographer, and what gets the photo disqualified? We decode that from the official rules for every open competition and serve it as a clean, maintained, machine-readable feed — rights grant, AI/editing policy, eligibility hard-stops, fees, deadlines and the upload spec. EU-hosted, no biometrics, no images.
GET /api/contests/feed.json with a licensed key (header X-API-Key or ?key=).
What's in every record
- Rights grant — license scope, duration, exclusivity, copyright retention, attribution — the rights-grab risk, structured.
- AI / editing policy — a 6-value taxonomy (absolute ban → biological fidelity → assisted-editing-ok → AI permitted → AI required), so a platform can filter by what each contest actually allows.
- Eligibility hard-stops — residency, age, capture-date window, prior-publication, copyright ownership — each with the exact published rule text quoted.
- Fees & tiered deadlines — per-image and portfolio pricing, currency, early-bird ladders, fee-waiver groups.
- Upload spec — file types, min/max dimensions, size caps, colour profile, caption and watermark rules — the silent disqualifiers.
- Provenance — source URL, fetch date and a confidence flag on every record, so you can show your users where the data came from.
Who licenses it
- Contest & open-call calendars — differentiate beyond deadlines with a rights/AI column your competitors don't have.
- Photo platforms — gallery, portfolio and community SaaS adding a credible “contests” surface without building a rules team.
- Photography schools & programs — give students a vetted, current map of where their work can actually go.
- AI-disclosure & rights-compliance tooling — a maintained source of truth for what each competition's AI policy requires in 2026.
Licensing
Everything in Indie, higher rate limits, priority coverage requests, and on-request contest ingestion from a URL or poster.
SLA, custom fields, white-label data, and a direct line for rules questions. For compliance tooling at scale.
Indicative pricing — every licence is scoped to your volume and use. The corpus is self-expanding: our ingestion pipeline extracts a structured record from any contest URL or poster, so coverage grows on request rather than capping at today's 29 manifests.
