Free photo tools

Every tool runs in your browser. Your photo stays on your device: nothing is uploaded.

How they work
Each tool is a page that does its work in your browser. Choose a photo or type a few numbers and the result appears on the page; a copy you download is made on your device too.

Questions
- Are these photo tools free?
- Yes. They are free to use and need no account or sign-up.
- Are my photos uploaded?
- No. Every tool runs in your browser, so a photo you choose is read and changed on your device and never sent to WinPhoto or anyone else. Once a tool has loaded, you can turn off your connection and keep using it; the HEIC converter may first need to load its decoder from this site.
- Which tool should I use before entering a photo contest?
- The contest file check. Choose the contest and your photo to compare the file type, pixel size, file size, colour profile and metadata with the contest's listed file rules, and make a copy that meets them. The contest's record on WinPhoto has its deadline, fees, AI rule and licence.
- How do I make a photo small enough for an upload form?
- Use the compress tool: choose the size the form allows, such as 200 KB or 1 MB, and it saves the photo at the highest quality that fits. If the form also sets a pixel size, the contest file check's generic sizes do both.
