Photo Contest Planner 2027

International Landscape Photographer of the Year 2026 closes 31 Oct 2026. The planner puts that date in your calendar beside every other verified contest deadline.

Every verified photo contest deadline in your calendar, with a reminder 7 days before each one closes. Each contest comes with its entry fee, its AI rule, the licence it takes and the file it asks for, as a calendar you subscribe to, a spreadsheet and a PDF.

US$10 one-time, VAT included where it applies

By paying you accept the Terms of Service. You keep the 14-day right of withdrawal: email hello@winphoto.io within 14 days of your purchase and we refund you in full (withdrawal form).

Card payment on Polar’s secure checkout; we email your download link to the address you give there, usually within minutes. Polar is our merchant of record and issues the receipt.

What you pay for

  • A calendar you subscribe to once. It puts a “7 days left” event in your calendar 7 days before each closing date. When we correct a date, closing time or fee in our records, the calendar’s events update, and your calendar app picks up the change on its next refresh. The free one-contest file on a contest’s page is a snapshot: no reminder, no updates.
  • One spreadsheet with the entry fee, AI rule and licence grade of each of the 17 contests, and the file spec where the rules give one, ready to sort or paste into your own sheet.

One payment; your files stay up to date until 31 Dec 2027. For a camera club, class or school: the group licence, US$55.

Among them Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2027, Sony World Photography Awards 2027, Bird Photographer of the Year 2027 (BPOTY 12) and World Food Photography Awards 2027, with deadlines from 31 Oct 2026 to 12 Mar 2027.

Today it lists 17 contests, from records checked against each organiser’s published rules between 17 Jun 2026 and 12 Oct 2026.

What is inside

  • Calendar (ICS). One all-day event per closing date, carrying the fee, the AI rule, the licence and the official link. Subscribe to it from your download page and it reminds you 7 days before each closing date and keeps up as WinPhoto adds or corrects verified records, in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook; or import it once as a file.
  • Spreadsheet (CSV). One row per closing date, soonest first, so a contest whose competitions close on different days has a row for each, with these columns: Contest, Organiser, Opens, Closes, Closing time, Time zone, Entry fee, AI rule, Licence grade, Licence, File spec, Checked, Official URL, WinPhoto URL.
  • PDF. The same table on landscape A4, for printing.

The files are built from WinPhoto’s records on the day you download them, so the link we email you gives an up-to-date copy until 31 Dec 2027.

Dates are as each organiser publishes them. Where an organiser names no time zone, the files give the zone we read the date in, UTC or the organiser's own, marked “our reading”. Some contests show a closing time of day, quoted from the organiser's rules; for the rest, check the official page for the time before you enter. Each row was checked against the organiser’s published rules on the day it gives.

Clean
You keep your copyright, and the licence clause names none of the wider terms listed under Standard or Heavy grant.
Standard
You keep your copyright, but the licence clause names at least one wider term: a perpetual or irrevocable licence, sub-licensing or transfer to others, commercial, merchandise, unlimited or exploitation rights, wording that makes the image their property, or partial exclusivity.
Heavy grant
You sign over your copyright, or the contest takes the image exclusively for the licence term.

A grade is a quick guide; each contest's record quotes the licence clause itself.

International Landscape Photographer of the Year 2026: entries close

31 Oct 2026, all day

Entries close on 31 Oct 2026. The organiser names no time zone; we read it as Australia/Sydney time. No closing time of day is recorded; check the official page before you enter.

Entry fee: 25 USD per image

AI rule: Bans AI-generated images; editing tools allowed

Licence: Standard. You keep copyright, but the licence reaches past promoting the contest — wider uses, sub-licensing or passing it to others. Read the licence clause before entering.

Subscribed from your download page, the calendar also reminds you 7 days before each closing date, marks the opening day of contests whose records give one from 1 October 2026 on, and updates itself as records are added or corrected.

For a club, class or school

The planner lists 17 verified contests, among them Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2027, Sony World Photography Awards 2027, Bird Photographer of the Year 2027 (BPOTY 12) and World Food Photography Awards 2027, as a spreadsheet, a calendar file and a PDF, rebuilt from our records each time it is downloaded until 31 Dec 2027.

The group licence lets one camera club, class or school share it with every member for their own contest planning: US$55, one-time.

Pay in euros, pounds or dollars: €49 · US$55 · £43

  • Sharing. One person buys and gets one download page. Share its link by club email, newsletter, members’ area or a private members’ group, not on a public website. From it, members download the files or subscribe to the calendar in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. In the subscribed calendar each closing date has a “7 days left” entry 7 days before, and corrections arrive when their calendar app refreshes, usually within a day. Members need no account, and we never ask for a member list.
  • Payment. By card on Polar’s checkout; Polar is our merchant of record and emails the receipt. Need a quote for the committee first? Email hello@winphoto.io. Paying for the club? On Polar’s checkout, tick “I’m purchasing as a business” to enter the club’s name, billing address and tax ID (optional). You pay in the currency of the price shown here; a bank outside that currency may convert it and charge a fee.
  • What it covers. The international photo awards and open calls in our verified records; club salons and federation competitions are not included.
  • Dates. Each closing date sits in the calendar on the organiser’s own date and names its time zone, and the time of day where our record quotes one from the organiser’s rules; otherwise the event says to check the official page. For members in Australia and New Zealand, a deadline set in Europe, the Americas or on UTC falls on that date or the next day, so the calendar date is never late.

Good to know

The planner lists only contests whose record WinPhoto has checked against the organiser’s own rules. Each contest’s details are also free to read, one by one, on the competitions pages; the planner puts them in files you can sort, print and add to your calendar.

WinPhoto is independent and not affiliated with any listed contest. After you pay, we email your download link to the address you give on the checkout, usually within minutes; the link opens a page with your calendar, spreadsheet and PDF. You keep the 14-day right of withdrawal: email hello@winphoto.io within 14 days and we refund you in full. If a file is missing or won’t open, tell us and we fix it.
