Eleven deadlines in our verified records fall in November and December 2026, from Getxophoto’s open call on 3 November to the RPS International Photography Exhibition on 15 December. Three cost nothing to enter: the World Sports Photography Awards 2027, the Student competition of the Sony World Photography Awards 2027, and the RPS exhibition for one single image. Seven of the eleven ban AI-generated images, four publish no AI rule, and three give a closing date with no time or time zone.

Reading the table
Times are the organiser’s. Where a contest’s own pages give two times, we list the earlier. The Sony Student rules say both “Entries must be submitted by 16.00 GMT on 27 November 2026” (clause 1) and “All entries to be uploaded by 13.00 GMT on 27 November 2026” (clause 3.1). The World Sports entry page shows 11:59 PM without a time zone, and its Timeline tab gives the date only; the entry platform’s data for the call sets the close at 23:59 UTC. Wildlife Photographer of the Year closes in the morning: “Entries must be received by 11.30 GMT on the morning of Thursday 3 December 2026”.
Three contests give a date only. Monochrome, The Nature Photography Contest and the Annual Photography Awards publish no closing time or time zone. If you plan to enter on the last day, ask the organiser for the cut-off first.
Fees are the standard adult fee, in the organiser’s currency. The rules set other rates too:
- AAP Magazine #62 charges $30 for up to 3 images through 16 October (inclusive), then $35; each extra image costs $5 at either rate.
- Monochrome charges amateurs $22 per single entry instead of $27.
- The Annual Photography Awards charges $40 for a series of up to eight images.
- Ocean Art sells 11 images for $100 and 22 for $200.
- Bird Photographer of the Year’s 25 entries cost £40 from 8 December, plus VAT for UK entrants; its Youth Competition is free.
- Wildlife Photographer of the Year waives its fee for the Young competition, for entrants aged 18 to 26 on 3 December 2026 and for residents of the countries its rules list.
- After the free single image, an RPS entry of four images costs £35, £27 for RPS members and £20 for entrants under 30.
Getxophoto’s fee is per project of 10 to 20 images, and its terms add that “The deadline may be extended at Begihandi / Getxophoto’s sole discretion.”
For deadlines in the rest of October, see the contests closing in the next 30 days; everything open now is on the open contests list. The next batch closes from January: photo contest deadlines, January to March 2027. For a contest we don’t list, the Terms Check reads its rules page and quotes back the deadline with its time zone, the fees, the AI rule and the licence.
